Loxton Rotary has vocational programs to support both students working towards a career, as well as acknowledging and encouraging those that make an extra effort in their vocation.
$10,000 Scholarship
Each year a scholarship is offered to assist a local student. Valued at $5,000 per year over two years, it is awarded to someone who is intending to study a vocational course at a South Australian university.
Pride of Workmanship
The Pride of Workmanship Awards acknowledge employees, volunteers and small businesses in the Loxton community who make an extra effort. Held over a dinner with an interesting and entertaining guest speaker, usually a high achiever who is a product of Loxton, the event is a feel-good celebration of achievement
